The National Coordinating Body for Protection of Children from Abuse and Neglect (NCB) was established in 2017 by the Government’s decision. This body has published an Annual Report on the situation regarding the protection of children from abuse and neglect following the created indicators for 2017, published in 2019.
According to the data expressed by the NCB, 55 children were registered victims of physical, psychological/emotional violence and bullying/bullying that occurs in school. 11 cases are children aged 6 to 10 years, 21 cases in the age group of 11 to 14 years, and 23 cases in the age group of 15 to 18 years. The analysis of gender-based violence shows that physical violence is more common in men than in women; in contrast, psychological/emotional violence is equally present.
